HarborNest is a style and fashion-forward brand that combines various complementary goods and services: a storefront with homewares, furnishings, lifestyle goods, fashion, and accessories; and home design services, including interior decorating, color consultation, and design guidance. HarborNest Homes Real Estate serves Gig Harbor, Port Orchard, and the Pacific Northwest.
HarborNest wanted to take its website in a different direction with new development. The HarborNest designer created a desktop design but didn’t have experience with responsive design or full website development, so the designer hired me to bring the project to completion.
I created a complete WordPress site, starting from the desktop design, and seamlessly adapting it responsively for mobile and tablet views. With thoughtful user experience enhancements, such as one-touch calling on the Contact page for mobile users, the final live site really followed through on the stylish, modern aesthetic of the original desktop design.
