Leslie Meier is the author of the Lucy Stone Mysteries. Classified as “cozies”, Leslie has said a good friend insists her books are really “comedies of manners.” Either way, they express her view of contemporary American life.
Her website, Leslie Meier Books, needed a design refresh, as it had the unengaged look and feel of a generic blog site, and not inviting viewers in. It was also structured only for desktop, further distancing viewers from being able to engage and interact with the site on mobile. The backend of the site also very much needed a technical update, to be brought up to current WordPress and security standards.
I created a custom WordPress website to be a much more personable place of engagement between Leslie and her fans. It includes easy gateways to Leslie’s other online presences, and direct links to the Leslie Meier books available from the variety of retailers who carry her extensive collection. I developed the site to be responsive across modern devices, so all visitors can enjoy a similar experience no matter their preferred screen size.
I continue to support Leslie Meier Books with ongoing website management, maintenance, and support.
As a somewhat reclusive author who can barely answer her cell phone, I am so grateful and appreciative of Guy Paquette who built my beautiful website and handles all my social media. His work frees me to focus on my first love, writing my Lucy Stone Mystery Series, and he not only maintains my website but fulfills my requests for social media postings quickly and accurately.
